Still have a stupid writer's block, even though I managed to force out Flatline. Haven't really been able to finish anything else.

Oh boy does it bother me. But I already described myself in my last entry before the uh...

But I do have ideas. That I have written in my little notebook. Where I keep all my poetry rough drafts. ...And stuff.

But obviously they haven't really made it past the level of consent to be submitted by moi. Since I don't feel like submitting a WIP, I'll just post something I've been trying to finish but evidently my efforts are fuuuuutttiillleee.

Stalk the shadows among the ruins below the citadels
That create a pretense of tranquility and justified rule
Breathe in the dust of the crumbled kingdoms
Housing shattered bones of all those buried under the crushing weight
To be inflicted as the splinter under the fingernail
The thorn prodding into the side
The flame to ebb away the throne of ice
Soon to be extracted and extinguished
But just enough to start the downfall.

The volley of arrows coated in the tears of suppression
Ignited by the faintest sparks
And launched over the walls to strike
The hearts of
The suppressors.

I think so far that's pretty good, but I want it to be longer. Just not really all too sure what to add.

I have no inspiration. No ideas for a new poem. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

ABSOLUTE OBLIVION.

And it's driving me insane. Probably the worst thing ever... writer blocks are teh stoopid. I'm noticing patterns in my work that make them extremely unoriginal and repetitive. And I have so many damned paper wads around my room it's not even funny. *grumble grumble grumble*

...Someone hit me over the head with a brick. It might give me a monumental burst of creativity!

I haven't really been paying attention, but as of late I've realized that dA must have some sort of conspiracy behind system maintenance. It seems whenever I’m browsing through the website, reading journals, digging through mounds and mounds of deviations or just generally being bored there isn’t any sort of hindrance preventing me from doing so. But when I’m active in talking to someone, or replying, or something that regards more than the typical mind numbing boredom, there is always a system maintenance, a browser crash, a computer or explosion or the variation.

I mean… what the hell, man! What the hell! Let me be entertained!!

1) I’m really into gaming, especially FPS (first person shooters) such as the Unreal Tournament series, Half-Life, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, etc.

2) I have a slight case of insomnia!

3) I love chatting with people online. If it wasn’t for MSN, chat rooms and the like the internet would be ten times more boring than it is now.

4) I’m a very accomplished writer (opinion may vary ).

5) Je sais comment parler français (at least I think I do)!

6) I frequent 4chan, thus furthering the corruption of my brain.

7) I spend an unnecessary amount of time perfecting the layout and CSS for each of my journal entries, and yet I'm still unsatisfied with the result.

8) I am really bad with this tagging stuff, and this is the final fact that is required of me.


As far as tagging 8 other people… I’m going to risk the smiting of all you guys and not do that part. I don’t really know eight people who would appreciate anything like this, anyway. D: Live with eet. I'll redeem myself with a ninth fact.
