Some of the more beautiful creations I've come across. Literature collections seem to be rare in dA, so I'll contribute my little bit.

Thoughts soften as the idea of Her arms around me drifts within my mind.
A stinging balm to the heart would be Her words if only I could hear them.
Her hands would be the teachers, forcing me to accept gentleness,
When all Ive ever known is violence and pain.
Eyes that would impart wisdom I otherwise would have turned a blind eye too,
Would keep me for no less than forever, which in itself is not long enough.
Were I to feel Her lips made of the sweetest honey spun with the finest silk,
Surely I would never love another, quite like I would love Her.
Should Her touch ever find where my secrets lay etched between the fawn hil
Critique
This poem is pathetic,
Utterly, pathetic.
Lacking in all elements,
Not even a shard of ingenuity,
Meaningless, is its verdict.
It has no rhyme nor rhythm,
No game nor play with time,
No eloquence, no elegance,
No flow nor catchy chime.
It has no embroidered cloths,
No clocks or telephones,
No rub, question, or chance to dream,
No Triumph or Disaster,
Or Will that says, Hold on!
Just words on a page.
Solitary.
A river that never flows,
A rock that never rolls,
So cliché, uninventive,
Shallow, a poor attempt,
A vacuum for human enlightenment,
A void for intellectual progress.
Its not art
A Question to the Sky by xSwEetxBlAsPheMyx, literature

A Question to the Sky
Bemused, i stood still at the cross roads,
Confused and alone i watched a girl sprinting,
Shrinking to a dot in the distance as,
I poked stones with my toes in the dusty road.
Turning my thoughtful face to the sky i asked,
'Why is it that she runs so surely ahead of me down her path?
And how is it that i don't understand the way in which they,
seem to know, the right way to go?'
The sky didn't hesitate,
But replied,
'Child, most are born to a path,
They simply know, when the time comes,
Which way they should go,
But you,
My aimless one,
Will never understand.'
The sky left me to drift,
Through the snow and the sand.
Shattered Pieces of Silence. by RandomNigel, literature
Literature
Shattered Pieces of Silence.
A thousand silent voices sang in harmony:
they spoke what no one dared say.
Their pitches rose and fell like leaves in the wind.
With them, the silence spoke.
With each passing moment,
another word was spoken.
Their voices grew strong, as together,
they made their stand.
Each syllable was deliberate.
Planned. Their words carried
a poetic air; the very space around them
seemed to snap in response.
The silence.
No spoken word surfaced,
no sound left their lips.
But every thought was brought forward;
thrust into the air, welcome or otherwise.
It was unbearable,
to say the least.
-End Of All Hope-
It's the end of all hope.
To lose the trust, our faith.
To end all that peace and innocence.
To be someone like me.
There is a sight of new hope.
To Redeem myself once more.
To gain back what I lost.
My life the unforgiven.
One more chance, I've been given.
No take those nightmares away from me.
Another red rose turned black.
My life laid out for all to see.
All alone in my silence my fear
Angels come close as my time draws near
When I'm gone i'll finally be free.
It's the end of all hope.
To lose the trust, our faith.
To end all that peace and innocence.
To be someone like me.
The wounds oh so deep

-You Just Never Listen-
-You Just Never Listen-
Finally the silence hits the land
People are tired of being soiled
in my blood
Trying, that's all I ever did.
Blink your eyes just once
Open them up and see everything gone.
You never hear a thing that I say to you
You never read anything that I wrote you
You never take the blame for your actions
You never let in what anyone said
Did we get this far just to feel your hate?
Did we just get pulled into a sick little game?
Why are you so blind? Can't you see?
Open your eyes, you took the wrong road but we're still standing.
You just never listen
An angel that's all you were.
Perfect and no mistakes
